Ghana defender Tariq Lamptey has expressed readiness for the new season which begins this week after a successful pre-season with Brighton and Hove Albion.
Lamptey, who missed the latter stages of last season, has fully recovered from the injury that kept him on the sidelines and was involved in a couple of friendlies with the Seagulls during preparations.
The 24-year-old is hoping for an injury-free campaign as Fabian Hurzeler's team eye another good run in the Premier League.
"Pre-season done. God's timing. Ready to go," posted the former Chelsea defender on Instagram.
The England-born Ghanaian was handed a new one-year deal at the end of the last season following his splendid performances for the club despite his injury worries.
Lamptey made 15 Premier League appearances last season, scoring two goals and adding two assists.
He joined Brighton and Hove Albion in 2020 from Chelsea and became an instant hit and a fan-favourite, commanding game time under different coaches.
His return to fitness is also a huge boost for the Black Stars ahead of September's World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali.
